Beaverton Foods earned eight awards at the 13th annual Napa Valley Mustard Festival World-Wide Mustard Competition. The Beaverton, Ore.- based specialty mustard producer won two gold, two silver and four bronze medals and has been awarded a total of 120 medals at the festival.
The Environmental Protection Agency's GreenChill Advanced Refrigeration Partnership awarded its first silver-level store certification to a Dallas (Lakewood) Whole Foods Market store. To be recognized, store managers had to prove they use only refrigerants with zero ozone-depleting potential, that the storewide annual refrigerant emissions rate is 15 percent or less and that the stre achieves an average hydrofluorocarbon refrigerant charge equal to or less than 1.75 pounds of refrigerant per 1,000 BTUs per hour of total evaporator cooling load.
Ecuadorian Rainforest donated books on health and nutrition to New Jersey's Newark Public Library. Belleville, N.J.-based Ecuadorian Rainforest supplies herbs, herbal powders and powdered extracts to the nutraceutical industry.

The acquisition of My Neighbor's Pantry allows the charity to expand its reach into the local community.
The Chicago-based law firm Amin Hallihan has been reorganized and renamed after the departure of partner William Hallihan. The new firm, Amin Talati, will continue to provide legal services for the food, drug, dietary supplement and cosmetic industries.
