Oregon Scientific Unveils Latest Educational Toys for Back to School
This back to school season, "must haves" go beyond the required backpack and school supplies as Oregon Scientific introduces new educational yet fun learning laptops in time for the first day of class. The just-released Barbie B-Smart and Accelerator PC Trainer 5 laptops provide dozens of games that teach math, spelling, logic and more, while having the "look" of today's sleek laptops for adults (see also Oregon Scientific).
"Our learning laptops for 2009 are designed to sharpen kids' skills in an exciting, interactive way," said Mike Prager, president of Oregon Scientific North America. "We also realize that children want to have grown-up, electronic gadgets, like their parents, so Oregon Scientific creates toys that mimic what mom and dad use at home."
