Big Brothers Big Sisters to give Lynchburg-area children school supplies

Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Virginia will hold its annual back-to-school picnic today at Miller Park.

Mid-State Insurance, which sponsors the picnic, will provide 50 children with the organization with backpacks full of school supplies at the event.
